Another dimension

3D... every mainstream Hollywood movie is a 3D wannabe. But why ? Does adding that 3rd dimension on a 2 Dimensional make you more comfortable watching that movie.
Once my Maths tuition teacher, while teaching 3 dimensional geometry, asked us students, what if there was a 4th dimension? And there were living forms in the 1st and 2nd dimension ? You never can give 100 % impossibility with the way new discoveries are being made in our lives. Since we live in the 3 Dimensional world we might not be able to comprehend or a describe what a 4th dimension means even if it exists.

Which brings me to the topic. What if all the ghost stories, the spirits you see, the hallucinations or the images you see in a dream state are that 4th dimension. What if our brain at that moment opens that sensation to perceive a 4th dimension, that has been hidden all that time. Just like a maniac person finding infinite strength from his body during his state mind, what if the mind unlocked that sense for a 4th dimension which we never knew existed. What if the different images that different persons sees are from multiple other dimensions or an interpretation of different perception of different types of unknown dimensions.
People see ghosts, their long lost ones, the feeling that I am not alone in this empty room right now, is that perception for the 4th dimension or a higher one? Although hallucinations and dreams tend to be explained on our inner repressed thoughts or a disorganized manner of thinking, couldn't it be that our mind is telling something about what we never have seen ,that existed right in front of us?

I never intend this topic be made into a argument or a debate..it's just the question.. What if ?

Where am I now ?

Long Long time since I have blogged.. Studying now to become a Psychiatrist. Life is pretty hectic, running for someone, jumping for someone, getting stressed and frustrated for someone...and ironically that someone are not my patients.

Life as a budding psychiatrist , brings you a lot of stories of people's lives that is the stuff of fiction. It's hardly a surprise here, how much inspired novelists can become if they follow a person's life. Each person has a story to tell, a cause or a reason to live, a perspective you might have never encountered or ever thought of in your wildest dreams. The extent to which we, humans, will go to survive, to bear the burden on our shoulders and still find the strength to take the next step.Even when we want to have everything perfect in our lives, we still can be blind to how imperfect the people around us are and still live with it..

Each day presents with a new experience, telling me the definition of life is much much wider than you know and not just the few words theorists put forward to you..

Lets hope time allows me to write more....
